Lady Hawks tie Wesleyan in double OT

MACON, Ga.  – The Huntingdon women's soccer team remained unbeaten in USA South Athletic Conference play but had to settle for a 1-1 tie with Wesleyan in double overtime on Saturday.

The Lady Hawks took 11 shots on goal to Wesleyan's two, but could not break the tie.

Senior Shelby Clark scored Huntingdon's goal on an assist from Reilly Feeney in the 36th minute of the game. Wesleyan answered on a penalty kick in the 42nd minute.

 

Records: Huntingdon (8-2-1, 2-0-1 USA South); Wesleyan (4-3-1, 0-1-1 USA South)

Quick Facts: Huntingdon's defense continues to limit opponents' opportunities. Wesleyan finished with two shots on goal on Saturday, becoming the seventh opponent to finish with two shots on goal or less this season.
