Lady Hawks eliminate Agnes Scott in Rd. 1 of USA South Tournament

MONTGOMERY, Ala.  – Freshman Camryn Hale scored in the 80th minute to help the Huntingdon women's soccer team get by Agnes Scott 2-1 on Wednesday in the opening round of the USA South Athletic Conference Tournament.

The Lady Hawks took a 1-0 lead in the 22nd minute on a goal by freshman Savannah Bridges. The lead stood until Agnes Scott answered in the 74th minute.

Tied 1-1, Hale scored on an assist from freshman Alyssa Carpenter to put Huntingdon ahead for good.

Huntingdon travels to face Maryville in the quarterfinals of the USA South Tournament on Saturday. Game time is set for 11 a.m. (Central).
