Huntingdon women’s tennis wins fourth straight match
MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The Huntingdon women's tennis team started slow but knocked off Covenant 7-2 on Saturday at the Gibbs Tennis Complex.
The Lady Hawks (11-3, 4-1 Great South Athletic Conference) dropped two doubles matches to start the day but won every match in singles.
Taylor Clark (No. 1), Katie Scott (No. 2) and Hannah Creamer (No. 4) each won their singles matches in straight sets. Hannah Still (No. 3) and Christian Vick (No. 5) won in three sets and Arielle Barraca (No. 6) won by default. Clark and Vick teamed to win at No. 2 doubles.
Huntingdon hosts Spelman on Sunday at 2 p.m.
