Huntingdon women’s tennis bounces back against N.C. Wesleyan
MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The Huntingdon women's tennis team earned its eighth conference win with a 7-2 victory over North Carolina Wesleyan on Saturday.
With one conference match remaining, the Lady Hawks (9-5, 8-3 USA South) are tied for fourth in the USA South Athletic Conference standings. The conference tournament is scheduled to begin on April 11 in Rocky Mount, N.C.
Hannah Still (No. 2), Daniela Lozano (No. 3), Arielle Barraca (No. 4) and Elayne White (No. 5) won their singles matches in straight sets. Barraca and White both won 6-0, 6-0. Tara-Beth Hall won be default at No. 6 singles.
In doubles, Barraca and Still won 8-0 at No. 2. The team of White-Shamyia Jones won by default at No. 3.
