Lady Hawks remain unbeaten with win over Averett

MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The Huntingdon women's tennis team remained unbeaten on Sunday by defeating Averett University 9-0. It was the second straight 9-0 win for the Lady Hawks (8-0, 7-0 USA South).
In singles, Hannah Still (No. 1), Sarah Warren (No. 2), Sara Duran (No. 3), Tara-Beth Hall (No. 4), Caroline McBroom (No. 5) and Octavia Pendleton (No. 6) all won in straight sets.
The Lady Hawks saw the same success in doubles play. Still-Warren won at No. 1, McBroom-Sandy Mayson won at No. 2 and Hall-Duran won at No. 3.
Huntingdon hosts Covenant on Friday at 10 a.m. in a conference matchup.
