Women’s tennis suffers first loss of the season
MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The Huntingdon women's tennis team fell to Covenant 6-3 on Friday.
It was the first loss of the season for the Lady Hawks (8-1, 7-1 USA South) and snapped an eight-match winning streak. Huntingdon is tied for second in the USA South standings. Covenant (9-5) improved to 6-2 in the USA South and is fourth in the conference standings.
Hannah Still (No. 1) and Caroline McBroom (No. 6) won in singles for the Lady Hawks. Still teamed with Sarah Warren to win 8-6 at No. 1 doubles.
Huntingdon plays at Piedmont on Saturday.
