Lady Hawks open season with win at Albany State

ALBANY, Ga. – The Huntingdon women's tennis team opened the season with a 9-0 win over Division II Albany State on Friday.

The No. 1 doubles team of Zoya Robinson and Josie Waddell and the No. 2 team of Caroline McBroom and Heather Tabor each won 8-0 and the No. 3 team of Lucy Burch and Macklyn Hubbard won 8-6.

In singles, Tabor (No. 3) and Hubbard (No. 4) each won 6-0, 6-0, Waddell (No. 1) won 6-1, 6-0 and McBroom (No. 5) won 6-0, 6-1. Robinson won 6-3, 6-1 at No. 2 and Kacey Stephens won 6-1, 7-6 at No. 6.
