Huntingdon improves to 4-0 with win over Agnes Scott
MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The Huntingdon women's tennis team opened conference play with an 8-1 win over Agnes Scott on Thursday.
The Lady Hawks won all three doubles matches and five matches in singles.
In doubles, the No. 1 team of Josie Waddell and Zoya Robinson won 8-1, the No. 2 team of Heather Tabor and Caroline McBroom won 9-7 and the No. 3 team of Clayton Waring and Kacy Howard won 8-3.
In singles, Waddell (No. 1) won 6-2, 6-4, Howard (No. 2) won 6-3, 6-3, Tabor (No. 4) won 6-3, 6-1, McBroom (No. 5) won 6-1, 6-3 and Waring (No. 6) won 6-0, 6-0.
