MONTGOMERY, Ala. -- The Huntingdon women's tennis team came up short 5-4 in its home opener against Point University on Wednesday.      

Three Lady Hawks earned singles wins with Josie Waddell (No. 2) winning 6-2, 6-3, Zoya Robinson (No. 3) winning 6-0, 6-2 and Kacey Stephens (No. 6) winning 6-3, 6-2.

The No. 1 team of Waddell-Robinson won 8-6 in doubles.

Coming Up: Huntingdon will play at Albany State on Friday at 1 p.m.
