HUNTINGDON VOLLEYBALL SPLITS WITH PIEDMONT AND SPELMAN

DEMOREST, Ga. – Abby Carter totaled 22 kills and Alyssa Eason recorded 58 assists as the Huntingdon volleyball team knocked off Spelman in three games and lost to Piedmont in three games.

Huntingdon beat Spelman 25-22, 25-23, 25-17. Piedmont beat the Hawks 25-11, 25-17, 25-14.

Carter finished with 15 kills against Spelman and seven kills against Piedmont. Eason had 37 assists and nine digs against Spelman and 21 assists and six digs against Piedmont.

In the win against Spelman, Allyson Brislinger added nine kills, Diane Humphreys had seven kills and Abby Brown finished with six kills. Ashlee Walters had a team-high 18 digs. Storm McWhorter added nine digs and Lauren Rozof had eight digs.

In the loss to Piedmont, Brislinger and Rozof each had six kills. Walters had digs, Rozof recorded five digs and Brislinger had three block assists.

Huntingdon (6-15) hosts Judson College at Roland Arena on Tuesday at 6 p.m.
