MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The Huntingdon College volleyball team had two rough matches on Saturday at Roland Arena.
The Hawks hosted Great South Athletic Conference rivals Maryville College and Agnes Scott in a tri-match. Maryville defeated the Hawks in three games, 25-17, 25-19, 25-12. Agnes Scott rallied from a two-game deficit to beat the Hawks in five games, 23-25, 23-25, 29-27, 26-24, 15-13.
Against Maryville, Alyssa Eason had eight assists and seven digs. Lauren Rozof recorded eight digs and three kills.
Abby Brown finished with 13 kills against Agnes Scott. Eason totaled 30 assists and 34 digs against the Scotties. Abby Carter had 11 kills and Ashlee Walters recorded 22 digs.
Huntingdon (3-14, 0-2 GSAC) travels to Stillman on Tuesday for a 6 p.m. match.
