Huntingdon volleyball splits with Salem and Methodist

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – The Huntingdon volleyball team picked up a conference win over Salem and lost a non-conference match to Methodist on Saturday. Huntingdon beat Salem 25-12, 18-25, 25-22, 25-23 and fell to Methodist 25-14, 25-13, 25-19.

Lauren Rozof led Huntingdon (3-6, 1-0 Great South Athletic Conference) with nine kills against Salem, Abby Brown followed with six kills and Ally Brislinger finished with five kills. Bianca Hulsey recorded 18 assists and five digs, Lexi Rangel had a team-high 12 digs and Kali Martin finished with seven aces and five digs.

Against Methodist, Kelly Kahumoku led Huntingdon with seven kills. Hulsey had 11 assists and four digs. Martin added five digs and Rozof had four digs.

The Lady Hawks return to action at home on Tuesday. Huntingdon hosts Faulkner University at Wilson Gym at 7 p.m.
