Huntingdon volleyball wins at Wesleyan

MACON, Ga. – The Huntingdon volleyball team picked up its 10th win in 11 matches with a 25-23, 25-20, 19-25, 25-20 win over conference rival Wesleyan on Wednesday. The Lady Hawks (13-10) are 7-1 in the Great South Athletic Conference with two conference matches to play.

Kali Martin, Lauren Rozof and Kelly Kahumoku combined for 34 kills, 42 digs and nine aces to lead Huntingdon against Wesleyan. Martin finished with 12 kills, 20 digs and five aces, Rozof followed with 12 kills, 12 digs and two aces and Kahumoku added 10 kills, 10 digs and two aces.

Abby Brown totaled six kills, two solo blocks, a block assist and two aces, Ally Brislinger added five kills and two block assists and Lexi Rangel finished with 41 assists, 11 digs and five kills. Storm McWhorter recorded 11 digs.

Huntingdon returns to action on Saturday in a tri-match at Covenant. The Lady Hawks play Covenant at 10 a.m. and Reinhardt at noon.
