Huntingdon volleyball competes in Millsaps tournament

JACKSON, Miss. – The Huntingdon volleyball team dropped two matches on Friday but earned a split on Saturday in the Millsaps tournament.

The Lady Hawks fell to Loyola 25-13, 25-23, 25-13 and Belhaven 25-7, 25-8, 25-10 on Friday and dropped a 25-21, 25-19, 25-19 match to LeTourneau on Saturday. Huntingdon ended the tournament by knocking off Rust 25-14, 25-11, 25-20.

Lauren Rozof finished the tournament with 16 kills, 32 digs and four aces and Kali Martin had 15 kills, 35 digs and four aces. Sam Morris added 11 kills. Lexi Rangel turned in 35 assists and five aces and Bianca Hulsey had 30 assists.

The Lady Hawks (14-17) return to action next weekend in the Great South Athletic Conference tournament.
