Huntingdon volleyball competes in Birmingham-Southern Invitational

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The Huntingdon volleyball team opened the Birmingham-Southern Invitational on Friday with losses to Sewanee and Millsaps. The Lady Hawks fell to Sewanee 25-17, 25-13, 25-22 and lost to Millsaps 25-19, 25-20, 25-21.

Kali Martin had 14 kills for Huntingdon (0-6) on the day. Ally Brislinger added 13 kills in the two matches, Lexi Rangel totaled 25 assists, Rachel Dunlay totaled 17 assists and Lauren Condon finished with 37 digs.

Against Sewanee, Martin and Brislinger both had seven kills, Rangel had 15 assists, Dunlay added nine assists and Condon totaled 24 digs. In the Millsaps match, Martin led with seven kills, Bislinger and Kalen Morgan each followed with six kills, Rangel had 10 assists, Dunlay added eight assists and Condon finished with 13 digs.

Huntingdon returns to action in the Birmingham-Southern Invitational on Saturday.
