Huntingdon volleyball comes up short in five-game battle

PENSACOLA, Fla. – The Huntingdon volleyball team won its first two games Tuesday night but lost to Pensacola Christian in a five-game match. The Lady Hawks took the first two games 25-21 and 26-24 before falling 27-29, 24-26, 13-15 in the final three games.

Sophomore Kali Martin led Huntingdon (3-13) with 18 kills, 13 digs and four aces. Freshman Kalen Morgan added 10 kills and eight blocks and freshman Morgan Goodson followed with eight kills.

Sophomore Lexi Rangel recorded 20 assists and freshman Rachel Dunlay finished with 19 assists.

Huntingdon travels to North Carolina Wesleyan for a USA South tri-match on Saturday. Huntingdon will face the Battling Bishops at 9 a.m. and William Peace at 11 a.m.
