LAGRANGE, Ga. – The Huntingdon volleyball team fell behind early and lost to LaGrange 25-13, 25-17, 17-25, 26-24 on Thursday.
Audrianna Hargitt and Bria Rochelle combined for 25 kills in the match. Hargitt led the Hawks (13-20, 3-11 USA South) with 13 kills and Rochelle had 12 kills and nine digs. For the season, Rochelle is sixth in the USA South with 317 kills and Hargitt is seventh with 295 kills.
Kalen Morgan added six kills. Cora Murchison recorded 25 assists and Lexi Rangel had seven assists and eight digs. Lauren Condon finished with 24 digs and Bobie Wilson had 10 digs. For the season, Condon ranks third in the conference with 490 digs.
Huntingdon will close out the season at home on Saturday with a conference quad-match. Huntingdon will play Mary Baldwin (2-27, 0-17 USA South) at 9 a.m. and Greensboro (7-21, 3-14 USA South) at 3 p.m. In between, LaGrange (13-18, 2-12 USA South) will play Greensboro at 11 a.m. and Mary Baldwin at 1 p.m.
