Volleyball splits on final day of Huntingdon Invitational

MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The Huntingdon volleyball team closed the Huntingdon Invitational with a win over Tuskegee and a loss to Auburn University-Montgomery on Saturday.

Huntingdon defeated Tuskegee 25-23, 25-16, 25-27, 25-22 and fell to AUM 25-16, 25-18, 25-21.

Amy Tyma, Alexis Creasman, Addison Genard and April Reese combined for 43 of Huntingdon's 53 kills in the two matches. Tyma finished with 12 kills and 24 digs, Creasman had 11 kills, Genard had 10 kills and 11 blocks and Reese had 10 kills.

Kaitlyn Carter led the setters with 27 assists.
