Huntingdon Baseball Voted 3rd in USA South Preseason Poll
LaGrange & N.C. Wesleyan Chosen as USA South Baseball Favorites
The USA South Athletic Conference's baseball coaches have released their 2022 preseason polls. Each divisional preseason poll only includes votes from coaches within that particular division-only. Head coaches do not vote for their own teams in the balloting. A new addition to the sport of baseball within the Conference will be Southern Virginia who enters the League for its first year of membership.
N.C. Wesleyan was atop the rankings in the East Division poll and will look to defend its 2021 regular season divisional title. In the West, LaGrange was ranked first as the Panthers aim to continue the program's positive momentum gained through a regular season divisional crown and the program's fourth-consecutive USA South tournament title.
The 2022 USA South Baseball Tournament will be conducted exclusively on campus sites as the top-four seeded teams from each division will advance to postseason play.
