Huntingdon Softball Voted 2nd in USA South Preseason Poll
Pfeiffer & Piedmont Tabbed as Preseason USA South Softball Top Picks
The USA South Athletic Conference's softball coaches have released their 2022 preseason polls. Each divisional preseason poll only includes votes from coaches within that particular division-only. Head coaches do not vote for their own teams in the balloting. A new addition to the sport of softball within the Conference will be Southern Virginia who enters the League for its first year of membership.
Pfeiffer was atop the rankings in the East Division poll and will look to defend its regular season title while, in the West, Piedmont was ranked first and attempts to capture a regular season divisional title and tournament championship for the second consecutive season.
The 2022 USA South Softball Tournament will once again be conducted exclusively on campus sites. The top-five seeded teams from each division will advance to tournament play.
