Men's Co-Golfers of the Week
Owen Burt, Huntingdon - The senior from Millbrook, Alabama placed tied for second out of 149 golfers at the Jekyll Island Collegiate Invitational last week by shooting an eight-under par 208. In the three-round event, Burt opened with a one-over par 73, followed with a four-under par 68, and finished with a five-under par 67.

Andre Chi, Methodist - The senior from Flushing, New York placed tied for second out of 149 golfers at the Jekyll Island Collegiate Invitational last week by shooting an eight-under par 208. In the three-round event, Chi opened with a one-under par 71, followed with a three-under par 69, and finished with a four-under par 68. 

Also Nominated: Jerrion Dukes, Greensboro; Fred Roberts IV, Piedmont.

Men's Golf Rookie of the Week
Will Campbell, Methodist - The freshman from South Yarmouth, Massachusetts placed tied for 17th out of 149 golfers at the Jekyll Island Collegiate Invitational last week by shooting a three-under par 213. In the three-round event, Campbell opened with a three-under par 69, followed by two consecutive even-par 72s. Also Nominated: Myles Patterson, N.C. Wesleyan; Tyler Bjorgum, Huntingdon.

 

WOMEN'S GOLF

Women's Golfer of the Week
Jillian Drinkard, Methodist - The senior from Appomattox, Virginia placed tied for fifth out of 120 golfers at the Jekyll Island Collegiate Invitational last week by shooting an even-par 216. In the three-round event, Drinkard opened with a two-under par 70, followed with a two-over par 74, and finished with an even-par 72. Also Nominated: Monika Vicario, Meredith; Jasmine Paynter, Huntingdon; Lilli-Caroline Tamburstuen, Averett.

Women's Golf Rookie of the Week
Emily Gresham, Methodist - The freshman from Binghamton, New York placed tied for 45th out of 120 golfers at the Jekyll Island Collegiate Invitational last week by shooting a 17-over par 233. In the three-round event, Gresham opened with a three-over par 75, followed with a four-over par 76, and finished with a ten-over par 82. Also Nominated: Lilli-Caroline Tamburstuen, Averett.
