Hawks Picked Fourth in CCS Tournament
MONTGOMERY, Ala. - Huntingdon Men's Tennis has been picked to finish fourth in the inaugural Collegiate Conference of the South Tournament.
The Hawks are set to take on Maryville College on April 27th in the first round of the tournament. Earlier this season the Hawks took on the Scots in Maryville, Tennessee in extreme wind conditions and won 6-3. Looking to end their three game losing streak the Hawks topped the Scots winning four singles matches and two doubles. Finishing 5-9 overall and 3-3 in the CCS, the Scots have dropped one more conference game as Huntingdon looks to advance to the semifinals.
The 2023 CCS Men's Tennis Championship will take place at the Rome Tennis Center at Berry College in Rome, Georgia. It opened in 2016 as one of the largest tennis facilities in the southeast and has served as the host for a number of collegiate championships, including the ACC tennis championships.
