Nine Hawks Baseball Players Receive CCS Honors

MONTGOMERY, Ala. – Hawks Baseball has received honors from the Collegiate Conference of the South with players named to First Team and Second Team All-Conference and an All-Sportsmanship Member.

First Team All-Conference:

Daniel Phillips – The junior outfielder has appeared in 35 games for the Hawks this season. He has appeared at the plate 151 times with 61 hits for a batting average of .404. Batting in 27 runs with 13 doubles, 5 triples, and two homeruns.

Hall Billings – This senior has earned 8 starts on the mound for the Hawks with three wins and 12 appearances. Billings has struck out 41 batters and averages 6.47 strikeouts per nine innings. He has also appeared at the plate for the Hawks 62 times with 21 hits, 11 runs and RBIs.

Seth Killam – Seth leads the team in saves from a pitching standpoint with three this season and 17 appearances. He has won 5 games for the Hawks and averages 8.46 strikeouts per nine innings with 42 this year.

Second Team All-Conference:

Cade Morgan – Morgan has played in 35 games this season with 142 at bats. He has 53 hits and 34 RBIs with an on base percentage of .415.

Daniel Patton – The third baseman has a slugging percentage of .551 with 49 hits and 30 RBIs this season. Patton hit 10 doubles, one triple, and three homeruns.

Noah Phillips – Phillips is an outfield/pitching combo who has 38 hits and a slugging percentage of .421. He has accumulated 26 RBIs and 25 runs with 8 doubles this year.

Matthew Robinson – Robinson has served as the designated hitter in most games for the Hawks with 32 hits, 9 doubles, 2 triples, 2 homeruns, and 23 RBIs.

Parker Szush – The sophomore pitcher made a mark this year being named pitcher of the week once. He has pitched 40 innings with 21 strikeouts and four wins with no losses this year.
