MC Davis Named USA South Rookie of the Week

MONTGOMERY, Ala. - Huntingdon women's golfer, Mary Charles Davis has been named the USA South Rookie of the week for the third time this season.

The Cullman, Alabama freshman placed tied for 60th out of 120 golfers at the Golfweek October Classic last week by shooting a 19-over par 235. In the three-round event, Davis opened with a five-over par 77, followed that with a six-over par 78, and finished with an eight-over par 80. 

Davis and the Hawks will compete in their final fall tournament in Rome, Georgia on October 30th and 31st.
