Huntingdon drops two games to Centenary

MONTGOMERY, Ala.  – The Huntingdon baseball team lost both games of a doubleheader to Centenary on Saturday.

The Hawks fell 10-6 in Game 1 and 4-0 in Game 2.

In Game 1, Huntingdon built a 5-0 lead in the first four innings before Centenary rallied and took the lead.

Colton Clark was 3-for-5 with two runs and three stolen bases and Ryan Greene was 2-for-4 with two runs. Andrew Knight had two RBIs and a run, Nick Swisher had two hits and a run, Jake Elrod had two RBIs and Wes Powell had two hits.

Tucker Duke (1-1) took the loss in three innings of relief. Wallace Henry (0-2) took the loss in Game 2. Henry and relievers John Crawford and Chris Williams combined for nine strikeouts in the second game.

Clark had two of Huntingdon's four hits in Game 2.
