Edgewood took an early 1-0 lead in the first inning, Cullen Stafford's sacrifice fly in the second inning tied the game but Edgewood came back and added 4 runs in the 3rd inning and 1 run in the 4th to take a 6-1 lead.
In the 6th inning, Edgewood added 3 runs with an RBI single and a 2-run homerun to take a 9-1 lead. The Hawks added 2 runs in the 7th inning with a sacrifice fly by Andrew Knight and a ground ball fielder's choice by Ryan Sparks.
