Maryville took a 3-0 lead in the first inning. In the third inning, Andrew Knight's RBI groundout made it 3-1. The Scots had a 9-1 lead until the 8th inning when Colton Clark had an RBI single to make it 9-2. Daniel Phillips had a 2-run homerun in the top of the 9th but the Hawks were not able to make a comeback.
