Rocky Mount, NC.-Huntingdon Baseball was defeated by Pfieffer, 12-2.
Pfeiffer took a 4-0 lead in the third inning. Andrew Knight had a 2-run homerun in the 6th inning to make it 4-2 but Pfeiffer added 6 runs in the 7th inning to take a 10-2 lead. A run in the 8th and a run in the 9th made it 12-2.
Chris Williams suffered the loss, pitching 6.1 innings and allowing 7 runs on 3 hits with 5 strikeouts. Andrew Knight was 1-4 with 1 run and 2 RBI, including a 2-run homerun. Daniel Phillips was 2-4. Hall Billings was 2-3 with 1 run.
The Hawks will face Piedmont tomorrow, May 6th, at 8:00 AM CST in an elimination game.
