Three Hawks Named To CCS Second Team All-Conference

MONTGOMERY,Ala.- Just prior to the start of the CCS Baseball Championship Tournament, the conference has announced the yearly all-conference awards. 

Huntingdon baseball saw three athletes, Noah Phillips, Davis Johnson, and Seth Killam named to the second team all-conference, while Matthew Robinson was named to the all-sportsmanship team.

From Highland Home, Alabama, Phillips has led the Hawks at the plate this season, holding a batting average of .379 with 8 doubles and 27 RBI's on the season. He also is second on the team in stolen bases with 11.

As a freshman, Davis Johnson has consistently provided production while batting for the Hawks. The Mount Sterling, Kentucky native maintains a .316 batting average on the year with seven doubles and one triple on the year. 

Seth Killam, from Century, Florida, rounds out the Hawks all-conference selections. On the mound this season, Killam has earned seven wins and one save while boasting an ERA of 3.69. He has strucken out 32 batters through 61 innings.

First baseman Matthew Robinson has been named to the all-sportsmanship team for the Hawks. As a senior, the Montgomery native leads the team in home runs with three on the year and has provided steady leadership throughout the season.
