MONTGOMERY, Ala. – Huntingdon Football (4-1 overall, 2-0 USA South) defeated conference opponent Methodist (1-4 overall, 1-1 USA South) in today's matchup, 52-7.

The Hawks opening drive ended in four plays with a touchdown pass from starting quarterback Carson Daniel to Tyler England for 26 yards to the Methodist endzone. Will Edwards added the PAT to shoot the Hawks up 7-0.

Huntingdon's offense quickly answered as the game was only tied for 2:30 minutes before Daniel completed another touchdown pass to Conner Bradford after running back Troy Garner rushed for 30 yards on the drive (14-7).

The Hawks defense shutdown the Monarchs once again in three plays to force a punt that England returned to the Methodist 1-yard line for great scoring position. Garner rushed for one and earned six more points for Huntingdon.
