BJ Brown Named CCS Rookie Of The Week For The Fifth Time This Season

MONTGOMERY,Ala.- For the fifth time this season, BJ Brown has been named the CCS Men's Basketball Rookie of the Week.

The Birmingham, Alabama native has been making his presence known early on in his collegiate career. The freshman guard led the Hawks to a 1-1 week. Against Piedmont, he recorded a double-double (20 points, 11 assists) and added five rebounds and a steal. He followed up with 18 points, eight assists, four rebounds, and three steals in a win over Covenant.

BJ and the Hawks travel to Jackson, Mississippi to take on Belhaven on February 14th. Tip off is set for 5:30 PM CT.
