Hawks Dominate Warren Wilson

Swannanoa, NC.-Huntingdon Men's Lacrosse defeated Warren Wilson, 22-3.

The Hawks' offense dominated throughout the game, starting early with a goal by Kole Andres from Brennon Madonia at 14:58 of the first quarter. Brady Moulton made it 2-0 with an assist from Caden Bacz at 12:18. Ryan Campion scored at 6:10 to make it 3-0. Andres made it 4-0 with an assist from Ian Bruggeman at 3:45. Bacz closed out the first quarter with a goal at 00:09 with an assist from Campion to make it 5-0.

Bacz's second goal of the game at the start of the second quarter made it 6-0. Paul Gordon scored 2 unanswered goals at 9:20 and at the end of the second quarter to give the Hawks an 8-0 lead going into halftime.

In the third quarter, Gordon made it 9-0 with an assist from Jacob Gray at 13:20. Andres scored at 13:09 with an assist from Gordon to make it 10-0. Campion's second goal of the game at 10:27 of the third quarter made it 11-0. Paul Gordon made it 12-0 with an assist by Kole Andres. Warren Wilson got on the board at 5:18 but Caden Bacz answered back at 4:17 to make it 13-1. Shortly after, Warren Wilson added their second goal of the game. Kole Andres scored at 4:15 to make it 14-2 followed by Ryan Campion's goal at 3:13. Alexander Hero made it 16-2 at 3:12 of the third quarter. Paul Gordon and Ryan Campion closed out the third quarter with a goal each to make it 18-2.

Warren Wilson started the fourth quarter with a goal but the Hawks took over after that. Bacz added a goal at 12:10 with an assist by Gordon to make it 19-3. Anthony Piazza scored at 9:15 with an assist by Bacz followed by an unassisted goal by Bruggeman at 3:14 to make it 21-3. Bacz closed out the game with a goal at 3:41, giving the Hawks a 22-3 lead.

Ryan Campion had 4 goals on 6 shots while Caden Bacz had 5 goals on 6 shots with 2 assists. Kole Andres had 4 goals on 9 shots with 1 assist. Paul Gordon had 5 goals on 7 shots with 2 assists.

Jesse 'Blake' Thomas made 5 saves on 8 shots.

The Hawks are back at home against Greensboro on Saturday, April 2. Game time is set for 12:00 PM CST.
