Hawks Taken Down by Southern Virginia

Montgomery, Ala.-Huntingdon Men's Lacrosse fell to Southern Virginia, 26-3.

Alexander Hero scored at 13:00 of the first quarter to give the Hawks a 1-0 lead. Southern Virginia added 5 straight goals in the first quarter but Ian Bruggeman scored with 37 seconds left with an assist from Kole Andres, making it 5-2.

In the second quarter, Southern Virginia scored 8 straight goals to take a 13-2 lead into halftime. Caden Bacz scored at 12:55 of the third quarter with an assist from Bruggeman to make it 13-3. Southern Virginia scored 8 straight goals in the third quarter to take a 21-3 lead. 

In the fourth quarter, Southern Virginia added 5 more goals to secure the 26-3 lead.

Tyler Daigle made 13 saves on 26 shots. Jesse 'Blake' Thomas made 4 saves on 17 shots.

 The Hawks are back in action at home on Wednesday, April 13th when they take on Centenary at 7:00 PM CST.
