Montgomery, Ala.-A back and forth battle resulted in a 2-1 win for the Huntingdon Hawks over the Averett Cougars.
A penalty kick goal by Kelan Leblanc, his 3rd of the season, tied the game at 1-1. Austin Priemer's goal, from Liam Kearns, at 74:21 gave the Hawks the lead, 2-1.
Goalkeeper Joshua Burton made 14 saves on 15 shots on goal. The Hawks offense totaled 19 shots.
The Hawks are back in action on Wednesday, September 22, when they take on Mississippi University for Women at 6:00 PM in Columbus, Mississippi.
