Brevard, NC.-The Huntingdon College Men's Soccer team ended their first conference match with a tie, 1-1, against Brevard. The Hawks are now 4-4-1, and 0-0-1 in conference.
The Hawks only goal came on a penalty kick by Cristo Rocha. Huntingdon took 9 shots but were unable to convert through 2 overtimes.
Goalkeeper Joshua Burton made 15 saves. Jace Bailey, Tyler Wilson, Caden McLean, and Colton Kay each played the complete game, 110 minutes.
The Hawks are back in action on Tuesday, September 29, when they take on Sewanee at the Samford Soccer Complex at 6 PM.
