Game 1:
The Hawks fell 8-0 in 5 innings and collected only 2 hits. The hits came from Natalie Ritchey and Lydia Lewis in the first and third innings, respectively.
Crimson Wells, who suffered the loss, pitched 4.2 innings, allowing 8 runs on 8 hits with 5 walks and 1 strikeout.
Game 2:
The Hawks fell 7-1 in game 2 of the doubleheader.
Katelyn Holcombe pitched 5.2 innings and allowed 4 runs on 7 hits with 1 walk and 1 strikeout. Holly Sharp took the loss after pitching .1 innings and allowing 3 runs on 2 hits.
Huntingdon's only run came in the 6th inning with an RBI groundout by Emily Nieuwstraten. Brooke Stefankiewicz and Natalie Ritchey each collected a stolen base.
The Hawks are back in action at the BSC Tournament on February 19th and 20th. Their first game on Saturday is against Asbury at 12:00 PM CST.
