Maryville, Tn.-Huntingdon Softball defeated Maryville, 5-2 and 11-3.

Maryville took a 2-0 lead in the first inning with an RBI single and held the lead until the 4th inning.
Emily Nieuwstraten had an RBI double in the 4th inning to make it 2-1. Natalie Ritchey tied the game in the 5th inning with an RBI single. Miranda Treadway's RBI double gave the Hawks a 3-2 lead. In the 7th inning, Treadway added to the Hawks lead with a 2-RBI single, making it 5-2.
Katelyn Holcombe earned her 10th win of the season, pitching a complete game and allowing 2 runs on 5 hits with 6 strikeouts. Miranda Treadway was 3-4 with 3 RBI. Natalie Ritchey was 1-4 with 1 run and 1 RBI.
The Hawks won game 2, 11-3.
Annie Nolan walked with the bases loaded in the first inning, giving the Hawks a 1-0 lead. Lydia Lewis' RBI single made it 2-0 followed by Emma Bauer walking with the bases loaded, extending the lead to 3-0. Bailey Murphy cleared the bases with a 3-RBI double, making it 6-0.
Maryville added 2 runs in the 2nd inning with 2 RBI singles. In the third inning, Bailey Murphy had a sacrifice fly to give the Hawks a 7-2 lead.
Maryville added a run in the bottom of the third but the Hawks added 2 more runs in the fourth inning with an RBI single by Alexis Morris. Miranda Treadway's 2-run homerun in the seventh inning secured the 11-3 win for the Hawks.
Holly Sharp earned her 5th win of the season, pitching 5.0 innings and allowing 1 run on 6 hits. Miranda Treadway was 3-4 with 2 RBI and 2 runs. Anna Vaughn was 3-4 with 2 runs. Brook Stefankiewicz was 2-5 with 2 runs. Lydia Lewis was 2-3 with 1 RBI and 1 run.
The Hawks take on Maryville tomorrow, April 24th, in a doubleheader starting at 10:00 AM CST.
