Hubbard and Roberts Earn CCS Weekly Honors

MONTGOMERY,Ala.- The Collegiate Conference of the South has announced that Huntingdon softball's Maddie Grace Hubbard and Allie Roberts have been named the weekly Player of the week and Rookie of the week respectively for their performances against Wartburg and Millsaps.

Hubbard led the Hawks to a 5-0 week with wins over Wartburg and Millsaps. The sophomore batted .438 with two runs scored, two RBIs, and two stolen bases, and Roberts went 2-0 in the circle this week with wins over Wartburg and Millsaps. The freshman pitcher collected 37 strikeouts and allowed only three runs and 13 hits over 21.0 innings pitched.

Hubbard, Roberts, and the Hawks travel to Birmingham-Southern to take on the Panthers in a double-header on March 6th. Games are scheduled for 4:00 and 6:00 PM CT.
