Hawks improve to 4-0 in USA South

DECATUR, Ga.  – The Huntingdon women's basketball team took the lead in the first five minutes and never looked back in Wednesday's 64-37 win over Agnes Scott.

The win was Huntingdon's fourth straight conference victory.

Fifteen players saw action in the game as Huntingdon built a 27-14 lead at halftime and a 21-point lead at the end of three quarters. Huntingdon led by at least 21 points for the entire fourth quarter.

Sophomore Ry Whetstone led Huntingdon with 16 points and 10 rebounds and junior Indya Lawrence added 10 points and three assists. Sophomore Kassidy Crawford had nine points and four assists.

Freshman Destiny Cross had five rebounds and three steals and freshman Alina Shoemake had four assists and three steals.
