Culbertson and Davis Sweep USA South Weekly Awards

MONTGOMERY,Ala.- In recognition of their stellar performances in the Hawks season-opening tournament, Caroline Culbertson has been named the USA South Women's Golfer of the week, while Mary Charles Davis has been named the Rookie of the week.

Culbertson, from Social Circle, Georgia tied for eighth out of 99 golfers at the Savannah Invitational last week by shooting a three-over par 147. In the two-round event, Culbertson opened with a five-over par 77 and finished with a two-under par 70. 

As for Davis, the Cullman, Alabama native placed tied for 34th out of 99 golfers at the Savannah Invitational last week by shooting a 15-over par 159. In the two-round event, Davis opened with a 11-over par 83 and finished with a four-over par 76. 

Culbertson, Davis, and the Hawks look forwarding to hosting the Capitol Hill Classic beginning on March 25th at the Robert Trent Jones golf course in Prattville, Alabama.
