Davis Makes All-Tournament Team, Hawks Finish As Runner-Up In USA South Conference Championship

SPARTANBURG,SC.- With today's third round of the USA South Women's Golf Championship concluding the tournament, the Huntingdon Hawks have finished as the conference runner-up. The Hawks shot a score of 313 for the third round, 25 shots over par. The conference champion Methodist University Monarchs finished the tournament with a third round score of 300, 13 shots ahead of Huntingdon and 12 over par.

Freshman phenom Mary Charles Davis led the Hawks throughout the tournament and qualified for the All-Tournament team with a fourth place finish. She shot a score of 78(+6) to wrap up the tournament. Caroline Culbertson, Ava Catherine Banks, and Briana Willis also each finished within the top 10 individuals. See below for the Hawks full round three scores.

• Mary Charles Davis- 4th overall, 78(+6)
• Briana Willis- 8th overall,78(+6)

The Hawks look forward to the DIII Women's Golf Selection Show on May 13th, hoping to receive a bid to the national tournament.
