Hawks Dominate Pfeiffer

Misenheimer, NC.-Huntingdon Women's Lacrosse defeated Pfeiffer, 13-3.

Shelby Blair opened scoring for the Hawks at 12:03 of the first quarter with an assist by Michaela Haas. At 11:22 of the first quarter, Dylanie Chappel made it 2-0. Blair's second goal of the game at 1:47 of the first quarter made it 3-0 with an assist by Chappel.

At 11:50 of the second quarter, Chappel's 2nd goal of the game made it 4-0. Blair gave the Hawks a 5-0 lead at 11:33 of the second quarter with an assist by Reagan Bullock. Zoe Dezaldivar made it 6-0 at 9:34. Haas added a 7th goal for the Hawks at 5:15 of the second quarter on a free position shot. Bullock scored at 4:38 of the second quarter to make it 8-0.

Pfeiffer got on the board at 3:53 of the second quarter, making it 8-1. Celina Owens-Campbell made it 9-1 with an assist by Michaela Haas at 3:35. Haas added a goal at 2:11 of the second quarter to give the Hawks a 10-1 lead going into halftime.

At 2:10 of the third quarter, Pfeiffer added their second goal of the game. Owens-Campbell's second goal of the game at 1:48 of the third quarter made it 11-2. Shelby Blair made it 12-2 with an assist by Michaela Haas to close out the third quarter.

Reagan Bullock's free position shot goal at 10:01 of the fourth quarter made it 13-2. Pfeiffer added their third and final goal of the game at 8:33.

Morgan Coppini made 6 saves on 9 shots, including 3 8-meter shot attempts. 

The Hawks are back in action at home against N.C. Wesleyan on Saturday, March 19th. Game time is set for 11:00 AM CST.
