Hawks Drop Last Regular Season Game to Southern Virginia

Montgomery, Ala.-Huntingdon Women's Lacrosse was defeated by Southern Virginia, 18-2.

After Southern Virginia scored the first goal of the game at 13:13 of the first quarter, Peyton Beachler tied the game at 11:25. Southern Virginia went on to score 8 more goals in the first quarter and 3 in the second quarter to take a 12-1 lead into halftime. 

5 more goals by Southern Virginia in the third quarter extended the lead to 17-1. Southern Virginia added another goal in the fourth quarter and Zoe Dezaldivar scored the Hawks' second goal at 5:45 of the fourth quarter.

Zoe Dezaldivar had 1 goal on 1 shot with 1 ground ball and 2 caused turnovers. Peyton Beachler had 1 goal on 2 shots. Morgan Coppini made 5 saves on 22 shots.
