Birmingham, Ala.-Huntingdon Women's Soccer lost 2-0 to Birmingham Southern College after a lightening delay.
"We were very fortunate to see a lot of what we need to work on moving forward," Head Coach Cliff Jordan said. "We're focused on reaching our max potential when we begin conference play against Brevard."
Goalkeeper Kiki Culpepper made 7 saves while Madison Tryon had 2 shots on goal.
"We have a great non-conference schedule ahead that's going to challenge us and allow us to grow," Jordan said. "It's a marathon, not a sprint."
The Hawks are back in action on on Saturday, September 11, at Belhaven University at 1:30 pm CST.
