Conway, Ark.-The Huntingdon Women's Soccer team defeated Hendrix 1-0 on an own goal by Hendrix. The Hawks have won 3 out of their last 4 games, improving to 3-2 on the season.
"Erin [Cembrale] played across the face of the goal and their defender kicked it up into the goal," Head Coach Cliff Jordan said.
Goalkeeper Kiki Culpepper made 8 saves on 8 shots on goal. The Hawks took 9 shots on goal, with 3 by Madison Tryon and 2 by Sam Curtis.
The Hawks are back in action on Wednesday, September 22, when they travel to Mississippi University for Women at 4:00 PM CST.
