Volleyball Splits Tri-Match with Berea and Brevard

Montgomery, Ala.-The Huntingdon Volleyball Team split the conference tri-match against Berea and Brevard. 

Vs. Berea:

The Hawks fell 3-0 against Berea, 25-11, 25-14, and 25-21. 

Jordan Hollis had 11 kills and 2 block assists. Kamea Nash had 6 kills and 12 digs, while Audrey Horsley also had 12 digs. Morgan Ilsley had 5 kills, 12 assists, and 10 digs. 

Vs. Brevard:

The Hawks defeated Brevard, 3-1.

After dropping the 1st set 25-18, the Hawks came back to take the 2nd set 25-16 and the 3rd set, 25-12. After a back and forth 4th set, the Hawks secured the win, 25-22. 

Kamea Nash had 16 kills and 11 digs while Morgan Ilsley had 12 kills and 17 digs. Audrey Horsley had 16 digs and Jordan Hollis had 13 kills.

The Hawks are back in action on Tuesday, October 19, against Wesleyan (Ga.) at 6:00 PM CST.
