Hawks Take Down LaGrange in 4

LaGrange, Ga.-The Huntingdon Volleyball Team defeated LaGrange, 3-1. The Hawks are now 13-14 overall and 9-5 in conference.

The Hawks took set 1, 25-23, and set 2, 25-19, before LaGrange took a back-and-forth set 3, 25-23. Huntingdon battled back to take the 4th set, 25-21.

Addie Jacobs led the team with 11 kills on 21 attempts, including 4 digs and totalling 12 points. Morgan Ilsley had 7 kills, 22 assists, 18 digs, and totalled 9.5 points. Jordan Hollis collected 7 kills and 2 block assists with 31 total attempts while Kennedy Chambers had 9 kills and totalled 9.5 points.

Audrey Horsley led the team with 23 digs while Kamea Nash had 19 digs and 6 kills. Ashlen Janowski totalled 5 kills and 3 digs on 28 total attempts.

The Hawks are back in action for the final regular season matches on Friday, October 29. Huntingdon travels to Demorest, Georgia, for a tri-match with Piedmont and Maryville. Game times are set for 2:00 PM and 4:00 PM CST.
