Bio

Haney joins the Hawks for the 2023 season while serving as the Head Volleyball Coach at Lowndes Academy. Since being at Lowndes since June of 2021, she has led them to 2^nd place AISA finish in the State Tournament for the first time in school history. She also teaches P.E., Civics, Geography, Literature, and Spanish.

Prior to Lowndes, Haney started the volleyball program from the ground up at Dalton State College. From her start in 2013 to 2017 she boosted the team to the semi-finals in the conference tournament.

To begin her career, in August of 2008 to 2012 she was the assistant coach at Lee University in Cleveland, Tennessee. While at Lee she helped lead the team to the programs fourth and fifth SSAC Conference Championship and helped lead them to the programs first NAIA National Tournament Final Four Appearance.

Haney is a graduate of Lee University where she was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2010 and a two time All-American named by the NAIA. She has received Regional and Conference Player of the Year and been named to the All-Conference and All-Regional team during each of her four seasons.
