Carpenter and Fugate Qualify For DIII Women's Wrestling National Tournament

FRANKLIN SPRINGS, Ga.- Competing in the NCWWC Region II Championships, Raya Carpenter and Shelby Fugate of Huntingdon women's wrestling each placed fourth in their weight class, qualifiying them for the national tournament.

Within her bracket, Fugate wrestled a "win or go home" fourth match to determine her fate for the rest of the season, which she was victorious. The Hawks placed 7 total girls in the top 8, see below for the Hawks full results.
