Two Tennis Players Named CCS Rookie's of the Week

MONTGOMERY, Ala.- Madison Parker and Zach Cox of Hawks Tennis have been named the Collegiate Conference of the South Rookie's of the Week.

Madison Parker claims her accolade after winning her singles and double matches to clinch the win over Belhaven last week. She posted a 1-6, 6-4, 7-5 win at sinlges and 8-4 in doubles.

Zach Cox was responsible for two wins against Belhaven last week where he and his partner won the double match 8-6 and he won his singles match 6-4, 6-1.

Both Hawks Tennis teams travel to Rome, Georgia on Wednesday for the first round of the CCS Tournament.
